Our Fees

Below is a good faith effort to capture moving permit fees. If you are confused, please call us for clarification.

Moving container fees (Pods, Door-to-Door and similar companies) are a little more complex, so please call or email us for details.

Fees are subject to change without notice.

Meters are an additional $20 per day per metered spot. Our fee is $60 for professional movers and $75 to the general public. For example, if you are not a moving company the typical fee for one day permit with two signs, without meters including everything is $144. Rush Orders: If your request requires us to make a special trip to city hall for your permit, its an extra $25. Sorry, these requests are a huge drain of our resources.

In event that your spaces are metered, you will be responsible for the lost revenue fee. This fee varies from $20-$40 per meter per day. Example: a two day, 75 feet, non-metered permits is $240. Our advice: narrow your move down to one-day only and 50 ft. Find a non-meter area is possible. Find a non-meter area whenever possible. Large spaces, multi day, metered areas, street closures (e.g. no sidewalk present, narrow or winding roadway, obstructions) fees are MUCH higher (and too complicated to accurately quote) and should be avoided.
Irvine, CA Irvine does not charge a fee for permits (free!). Our service fee to arrange is $100
Portland, OR Our service fee is $95. The City permit fees and regulations in Portland are confusing. Depending on the permit address, the City has three different pricing schemes. (1) Metered-areas are priced at $50 per metered space (20 feet) per day. (2) Non-metered permit address located in a congested area (this is determined by the City upon our application) are priced at $7.50 per space per day plus a flat fee of $32.50. (3) Permits in non-congested, non-metered area are $40 per day up to 80 feet. Vehicles parked in permit area need to be "commercial vehicles" (uHaul trucks ok). No passenger vehicles or SUVs. Permit Puller will post the signage if the area is non-metered. If metered, the City of Portland will "bag" the meters. VERY IMPORTANT: Permits are only enforceable (this means you can call the Portland Parking Enforcement to get vehicles parked in your permit area towed away as needed) under the following circumstances. (1) Metered permits are fully enforceable under all circumstances. (2) In all non-metered areas, the signs we post at the permit address must be inspected by Parking Enforcement at least 24 hours in advance of the start date. Permit Puller charges an additional $100 for this inspection at is is very time consuming as our staff must be present during the inspection. If you wish to have a fully enforceable permit please note this on your request otherwise we will not take this extra step w/o your prior authorization. It is your responsibility to take down the signs upon completion. MOVING CONTAINERS: Pods are OK in non-metered areas only. These permits are not enforceable (not towable).
